Yes, it was painful watching Ned make all those terrible decisions (“Hey Cersei, just wanted to let you know I figured out that secret that you murdered someone to hide!”) And the online jury is still out on a certain whore-y story. But now that King Robert’s out of the picture, the real fun can begin, with Tywin Lannister finally showing up to start that war we’ve all been hearing so much about.
Watching the mighty Lord Tywin talk to his son Jaime felt a lot like seeing your high school bully’s dad at a baseball game and being overcome with sympathy. (Those were real stag entrails that Pops was heaving around, by the way.) In other wildlife news, a few fans took issue with Ghost’s brief vocalization beyond the Wall … but barking direwolf or no, the crowd has definitely cast its vote on the lupine front.
