Winter is finally here, and so is San Diego Comic-Con. This year’s Game of Thrones: Winter Is Here activation allows fans to travel to the many locales of Westeros, and embrace each ruler, for some fun photo ops and one-of-a-kind GoT-themed experiences.

Head to the venue across from the Omni Hotel on L street and sign in with your name and email. Be sure to snap on your RFID “dragonglass” wristband to use at each touchpoint along the way and receive all of your ready-to-share photos and interactions.

King in the North

Your journey begins at Winterfell. After an opening video of Sansa’s Season 6 declaration that her house words have finally come to fruition, visitors can sit at the Great Hall table and make a short video of themselves playing the King (or Queen) in the North. Voices from the Season 6 finale will chant as you make your royal demands — and if that doesn’t get you amped up, not much will.

As you pass by the first weirwood tree, glance up at the hologram white raven, bringing word of the coming cold. Stay to watch a clip from the Season 7 premiere episode, then arrive with Daenerys at Dragonstone.

Mother of Dragons

Daenerys’ homecoming means many things, including brand-new costume concepts for the Dragon Queen and her supporters. Take a look at the Michele Clapton-designed outfits worn by Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) and Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) in that first Dragonstone scene, and marvel at the incredible craftsmanship and subtly that goes into every stitch.

Strike your own “Shall we begin?” pose at a recreation of the impressive Dragonstone map, and then take a seat on the only throne to compete with the Iron Throne for epic points.

From there, head to the next weirwood tree to watch the scene of Cersei’s crowning ceremony. Use the fierce queen as inspiration to get your own game-face on: the Iron Throne is next.

Queen of the Seven Kingdoms

Welcome to King’s Landing. No visit to Westeros would be complete without taking a photo on the most iconic set-piece of all, but this year’s activation gives you the option to put a new “winter” spin on this classic image. Using the Night King Snapchat filter, feel free to give your friends a foreboding feeling when you share out a picture of yourself as a White Walker ruling over the Seven Kingdoms.

Move on to the final weirwood, for a clip of Bran’s vision of the Army of the Dead, and get ready to head beyond the Wall.

The Night King

Begin your adventure North with a 360-degree photo booth experience. Choose a persona — Night’s Watchmen or wildling — and choose your weapon — Jon Snow's sword Longclaw or a dragonglass dagger. Step into the 360-room to find yourself surrounded by blue-eyed White Walkers, and prepare for battle.

Now that you’ve warmed up, head to the interactive game in which you fend off the Army of the Dead by slashing them with dragonglass. As more Walkers come, the task gets harder. At the end of game-play, create your own character art, for a final shareable image.

Grab your swag bag full of Funkos and t-shirts and finish up at the retail case full of exclusive HBO Shop merchandise, or, if you’d rather channel your inner-Cersei, raise a glass to a job well-done with the latest Game of Thrones wine and beer from Brewery Ommegang.

The Game of Thrones: Winter Is Here activation runs Thursday, July 20 - Saturday, July 22 11 AM - 7 PM and Sunday, July 23 9 AM - 1 PM.
